How to enable Windows 10 God Mode
The boys at Redmond are still having fun building easter eggs into Windows. If you recall, God Mode appeared in previous versions of Windows and continues its existence in the latest version, Windows 10. What is God Mode and how to do I enable it? “God Mode” doesn’t give you unlimited lives as you may have hoped but it does give you access to pretty much all the Control Panels in one place. When enabled, God Mode turns a regular folder into a “Master Control Panel.” This is uber useful for power users and IT pros. No longer do we have to dig through the latest iteration of Microsoft’s “user friendly” Settings panel. With God Mode we can have everything at our fingertips…. muahahahaha!
How to enable God Mode in Windows 10
Make sure your account has administrative privileges.- Right-click the Windows 10 desktop and choose New > Folder.
- Right-click and rename the folder: GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C} and press enter.
- The icon will switch to a Control Panel icon and the folder will fill with direct access to all the fabulous control panels.
- You are now KING of your castle!
